The Studio offers students the opportunity to undertake performance exams both online and in-person with the Australian Music Examinsations Board (AMEB). In-person exams are held at the studio in April/May and October. Online exams take place throughout the year with cutoff entry dates in June and October. We prepare students for Preliminary to Grade 8, Certificate of Performance and Diploma examinations. We also prepare students for HSC performance exams.
We also prepare students for AMEB theory examinations.
For students preparing for examinations in the higher grades in Piano New Syllabus, theory/musicianship is a compulsory requirement from the AMEB in order to receive the performance certificate.
